Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi Dies in Helicopter Crash

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has died in a helicopter crash in southeastern Iran, according to Iranian state media. Raisi was 63 years old.
Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who was also in the helicopter, was also killed in the crash.
According to IRNA, the official news agency of Iran, the helicopter crashed Sunday morning near the city of Bardasir in Kerman Province, during a tour of the area.
The cause of the crash is not immediately known. An investigation is underway.
